The Samal Group of Construction laid its foundation in 1924 in Mumbai under the control and the guidance of Late Shankarrao. Y. Samal.  The group started its journey with a partnership firm called M/s M.R. Jilkar & Company and executed various projects in Mumbai. The Bombay High Court buildings, Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium Mumbai, The palace of the King of Gwalior, The Cotton Mills of Mumbai of various companies were our major projects back then. This was followed by a phase of his business in and around Pune in 1953.

Our visionary, Mr Shrikant S. Samal with Mr S.Y. Samal started undertaking contracts from 1963 under the name of S.Y. Samal & Company and from 1981 under the name of Samal Builders. With an increase in the business, the company evolved into Samal Constructions Pvt. Ltd. in 1983 and diversified into Baldota Samal & Asso. as its real estate wing in 1985. Since 57 years of its inception, it has been a pioneer and a leading company in the construction industry in pune.

 

Mr Kiran Samal joined the business in 1987 and has been responsible for the success of the company. He has taken the legacy forward and has made sure that the saying 'SAMAL MEANS QUALITY' still stands true.

We have completed more than 200 projects and built more than ten million square feet in the last 57 years.

The current directors of the company are Mr Kiran S. Samal & Mr Ranjeev K. Samal.
